2009 Summer Conference for Young Muslim Men

The Prophet (saws) said, "I have not been sent except to perfect morals."

When: Saturday, June 20 - Wednesday, June 24

Where: Islamic Society of Tampa Bay Area

Topic: InshAllah, this Conference will empower students in building their Islamic character by improving themselves in the finer points of Islamic Adaab and strenghthening the spirit of Jama'ah in Islam. Seekers of knowledge will inshAllah gain Islamic Adaab in the following topics:

  • Seeking Knowledge
  • Reciting the Book of Allah
  • Appearance
  • The Spirit of Brothers & Sisters in Islam
  • The Masjid, Home and Other Places
  • Social Manners
  • Eating & Traveling
  • Visiting
  • Conversation
  • Respect for Parents & Others
  • Visiting the Sick & Giving Condolences
  • Communicating with Non-Muslims on the Level of Da'wah

Schedule:

  • 10:00am - 12:30pm (Sat.-Tues.) - Inspiring Dars & Question/Answer Session
  • 12:30pm (Sat.-Tues.) - Lunch Followed by Salah
  • 5:00pm (Wed.) - Dinner Reception
