The Resource Center provides information and referral services for affordable or free education, employment, health care, housing, and many other social services for all county residents.

Since 2005, The Resource Center has provided classes and individual instruction of English language proficiency for academic enhancement, testing, and on-the-job training. Clients also participate in workshops to attain financial literacy and basic computer skills through vocational technical training. Out-of-School programs for youth development and community service opportunities for high school and college students are also provided.

The Resource Center was developed with generous funding and support from the Islamic Society of Tampa Bay Area, The Children's Board, Inc. of Hillsborough County, and Achieve Management Tampa Bay, Inc. and is currently managed and operated by The International Family Resource Network, a faith-based community education project.
